Starting our evening at 6pm will be musicians Melissa and Chris.

Two members of There’s Always Tomorrow, playing together as a duo. Melissa has studied music from around the world, and, together with Chris’s drumming and techi (Chris hates that word) know-how, they will put on a multimedia performance. Combining drumming, Indian chants and electronic ambiance, they will start the evening by setting the stage with warmth and inviting vibes.

At 7pm in our back event space we welcome musical group

There's Always Tomorrow

There’s Always Tomorrow got together two years ago in Lafayette CO.They play around Boulder, Denver and Lafayette. Last summer they enjoyed playing as the house band at a popular restaurant in Boulder. They have folk roots but play with how rock blues and latin music meet. Pulling from whatever grooves them and you. Melissa’s writing mixed with Jeff’s in depth knowledge create a fun and dynamic musical palate. While Chris’s penchant for hitting things, then hitting different things, then hitting the same things, but differently really provides a rhythmic grounding for the band. Brion’s perpetual enthusiasm shows itself in his guitar playing and writing, and brings an unmistakably bright quality to the the group. Together we create a family like tone, like sitting with close friends around the fire.

Throughout the evening : Spoken Word Poetry by Jeff Kent

Joining us throughout the evening will be spoken word poet Jeff Kent. Jeff is the author of two books Useless Words With A Smattering of Poetry and More Useless Words With A Smattering Of Poetry .

Passionate about Mythology and Existentialism, Jeff's poetry is influenced by his graduate studies at Naropa University in Religious Studies, and his PhD work in Mythological Studies at Pacifica Graduate Institute. Insightful, philosophical, and and all around good guy you want to drink a beer with, Jeff's poetry will leave you inspired and pondering the true nature of existence.....or do we exist at all? Hmmmmm

All this is a fundraiser for our Central Asia Institute Art Education Program

launching this fall!

In partnership with Central Asia Institute we are offering art education programs for school girls in Central Asia. Our first program will begin in Kabul and grow to other regions as funding becomes available. The girls in this program have already had a taste of art education through a mural project painted near thier school of a girl studying that says "I am Afghanistan's future." These girls now know art can be a powerful tool in progressing their rights as women, and they are excited to keep going. We are excited to offer them this opportunity to have an avenue that can reach more members of their society!
